Si laurea in Medicina a Chirurgia presso l’Università di Parma nel 1973, dove, dopo il tirocinio in Chirurgia Maxillo-Facciale, si specializza in Odontoiatria e Protesi Dentaria nel 1976. Assistente ospedaliero dal 1977 al 1979, si dedica in seguito alla libera professione.
Negli anni 1983-85 frequenta l’Università di Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, USA, dove nel 1985 consegue la Specializzazione in Parodontologia.
Nel 2002 consegue il titolo di Licentiate in Odontology presso l’Università di Goteborg
Ha seguito corsi e partecipato a stages in Implantologia presso le Università di Lund, Goteborg, Umea (Svezia) e Leuven (Belgio).
È socio dell’American Academy of Periodontology (AAP), socio attivo dell’Academy of Osseointegration (AO) e della Società Italiana di Implantologia Osteointegrata (SIO):
Ha partecipato come relatore a corsi e congressi in Italia e all’estero e come ricercatore a programmi di ricerca clinica su materiali diversi. Ha pubblicato su riviste internazionali.
Esercita la libera professione limitata alla Parodontologia e all’Implantologia a Lovere (Bergamo) e Bergamo.
